Enrollment, payment, and cohort policies.

The following terms provide a general overview for learners considering a Lingo by Iva program. Additional program-specific terms, schedules, payment details, and policies will be provided before enrollment is confirmed.

Policies

Our commitments and yours.

Enrollment

Enrollment in a French learning pathway or TEF/TCF Canada program follows a complimentary assessment and confirmation of the learner’s level, goals, schedule, and suitable placement. Cohort spaces are limited and are offered on a first-come basis.

Payment Terms

Program fees are payable in full prior to the program start date. A learner’s place is not reserved until full payment has been received.

Cancellations & Refunds

All program fees are non-refundable once payment has been received, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Refunds, credits, transfers, or make-up sessions are not provided for missed sessions, scheduling conflicts, changes in personal availability, voluntary withdrawal, or failure to complete the program.

If Lingo by Iva cancels a program or is unable to provide the remaining services, learners will receive a refund or an appropriate alternative for the portion of the program not delivered.

Cohort Scheduling

New cohorts generally begin during the Winter, Spring, and Fall intakes. Lingo by Iva may adjust start dates, combine compatible cohorts, or reschedule sessions when reasonably necessary to preserve the quality and viability of the learning experience.

Learners will be notified of material scheduling changes and offered an appropriate alternative or refund for any portion of the program that cannot be delivered.

Attendance & Missed Sessions

Learners are expected to attend all scheduled live sessions. Missed cohort sessions are not refundable, transferable, or rescheduled individually.

Supplementary materials or recordings may be provided when available, but their availability is not guaranteed unless specifically stated before enrollment.

Materials & Intellectual Property

Recordings, lesson materials, study guides, templates, and other resources are provided for the enrolled learner’s personal use only. They may not be copied, shared, recorded, sold, published, or redistributed without written permission from Lingo by Iva.

Private Support Sessions

Limited private support sessions may be offered for targeted review, clarification, personalized feedback, or exam preparation. Availability, pricing, payment terms, and cancellation policies will be confirmed before booking and may differ from cohort policies.
